Your data, your decision

Delete your account

You can start account deletion directly inside Reverse Diary. Here is what the process removes—and what requires a separate Apple action.

Delete inside Reverse Diary

  1. Open Reverse Diary.
  2. Go to Profile, then Settings.
  3. Select Delete Account.
  4. Review the explanation and confirm deletion.

The app sends a secure deletion request for the current anonymous account. After the cloud request succeeds, it removes local journal records and application-owned journal photo and audio files, then clears the local Supabase session. Once completed, this action cannot be undone.

If you cannot access the app

Email furkanedikli@icloud.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” Explain that you cannot access the in-app deletion flow.

Because Reverse Diary does not require a traditional email account, we may need limited information to locate and verify the relevant anonymous record. We will never ask for your Apple ID password, payment card details, or full journal text.

What deletion covers

  • Your Supabase anonymous account and associated cloud records.
  • Eligible server-side AI analysis and cache records linked to that account.
  • Your local journal records.
  • Application-owned journal photo and audio files stored by Reverse Diary.
  • Your local Supabase session, which is signed out and cleared.
  • The linked RevenueCat customer record where deletion is supported and legally permitted.

You do not need to run a separate local-data deletion step after the in-app permanent account deletion flow completes. Device or iCloud backups may retain prior app data according to your Apple backup settings.

Some limited records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, financial reporting, legal compliance, security, or dispute resolution.

Your Apple subscription is separate

Deleting your Reverse Diary account does not cancel an App Store subscription.

To cancel, open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Reverse Diary → Cancel Subscription. Apple controls billing records, refunds, and subscription cancellation.
